Our Story

Hi there! We’re Ryan and Lara, and this is how our journey began.

Our paths first crossed in the heart of Texas. Ryan, originally from Boston, had moved south in search of warmer days and sunny skies. I, Lara, had traveled all the way from Brazil to Texas for an English exchange program. Little did we know, God had already planned for our lives to come together in the most beautiful way.

Very early in our relationship, we received an unexpected blessing—our son, Henry. From the moment he came into our lives, it was clear that our love was meant to grow into something extraordinary. Though it was a surprise, it was also a reminder that God’s timing is always perfect.

Today, we’re already a family in every sense of the word. This wedding is simply a way to celebrate our love and commitment publicly with all the people we hold dear.
